English version
BESI: the chart
BESI is clearly under pressure and has recently received a striking number of downgrades from major Anglo-Saxon brokers. Not only are recommendations being lowered, but price targets are also being cut sharply in some cases. This raises the question in our minds whether BESI may have communicated something to these firms. We cannot confirm that, but the pattern is notable. For this analysis, however, we leave that aside and focus purely on the chart, with particular attention to the VWAP lines.
■ White VWAP: the standard VWAP anchored in April 2025 is located around €168 and has so far acted as relatively strong support.
■ Pink Lower Band 2: below this VWAP, the second important zone is located around €123. If €168 fails to provide support, this much lower band could eventually come into focus.
■ Confirmation: a second VWAP structure, anchored in March 2026, also gives a weak signal. BESI has fallen below the pink Lower Band 2 near €203 and has recently failed to regain it on a sustained basis.
■ Scenario: a rebound towards approximately €203 is certainly possible, but as long as BESI does not move convincingly above this line, the trend remains downward. On the downside, €168 comes first, while a clear break could bring approximately €123 into focus.
■ Our view: it is probably still too early to buy BESI. The stock is highly volatile and there are never any guarantees, but technically we clearly cannot rule out further downside.
Our preferred outcome would be for BESI to first demonstrate that the white VWAP around €168 can once again act as firm support. Buyers repeatedly emerged around this level in the past. A clear reaction from this area would therefore be important before we consider a new position.
If that support does not materialise, the technical picture becomes considerably weaker and the pink Lower Band 2 around €123 could eventually come into focus. On the upside, approximately €203 remains the key threshold. As long as BESI does not convincingly reclaim that level, any rebound should technically still be viewed primarily as a recovery within a downward trend.
